New and Looking For Info

I have decided to attend Burning Man after several years of hemming and hawing about the matter. I figure I am slightly more prepared for this undertaking than a completely green newbie given a few years experience with Ren Faire and the demands that it places on its partcipants.

Basically though and despite the aforementioned, I know very little about it how it all works and am pleading ignorance to the highest order. Any kind of helpful tips, hints or links anyone can kick down to me about the hows, the whys and the wherefores will be very appreciated.
