Time Event
For those Burning Man folk mongers ....
For those interested ...
I'd like to formally invite everyone on Burning Man list to join our new community:

The Tree Leaves' Oracle & Folk Fellowship LJ Community

Tree Leaves is a cooperative / collective of folk enthusiasts, folklorists, artists, musicians, religionists, and culturalists who seek to preserve folk and tree lore, culture, ways, religion, art, music, and beliefs. As a cooperative, members network together, share ideas, theories, concepts, art, techniques, and lore to help one another preserve traditions, knowledge, and beliefs that have been generated in the past, present, and future.

Current Mood: accomplished

Im thinkin' of making some drums
I am taking a ceramics class next quarter where I get to do pretty much what I want to do (independant studies / projects kinda thing) I was thinking of making some bodies for some drums, but then I realized that once I made the bodies, I wouldn't have any clues on how to put a head on them. Does anyone have any ideas where I could find out that information online? I'd really like to have some drums that I made myself for ritual drumming purposes - any help would be appreciated!
Hey Burningman people
Hey everyone...We didn't get shit together in time and got denied Flipside tickets--so we were looking into other local burns. We were looking at playa del fuego. Does anyone have any experience there? Is it worth a drive from CA? Any other local burns people can reccomend?
