Hey all,

My friend Mauck of Bluehouse and Phoenix Fest fame and his camp, Bluehouse are in need of help. Their project for this year, The Gyrosphere needs a new web page.

The Gyrosphere is getting international press, but they have no web presence. They need to get something up and running ASAP. Mauck has asked me to get a bunch of geeks together to help build it. My friend, designer Ryan Bickel, has come up with Collapse )

These designs are up for a bit of changing. But whatever changes we make, we need to get them functioning. If we get the infrastructure laid correctly, it should take minimal effort to get each of these designs up and running. the Gyrosphere page is top priority.

Mauck will be happy to PM the job.

So... What I'm looking for is this:

  • Web developers. We're sticking to web standards. HTML, XML, CSS, JS, DOM.

  • mod_perl programmers. We're working on a freebsd OS + Apache. You need to know UNIX.

  • We're using HTML::Mason for the templating. Unless you want to take it over yourself and want to start it from scratch. I'd prefer to stick with mod_perl, though. PHP makes me feel icky.

I look forward to hearing back from you! Thanks in advance!
