Time Event
This weekend: IGNITION 2005, the Montreal Regional Burn!

6-7 August 2005 (yes, this Saturday and Sunday!)

The Summer Montreal Regional Burn

Montreal's very first regional Burning Man event, hosted by the Bruleurs de Montreal Burners.

A weekend outdoor art event celebrating the Burning Man principles of radical self-reliance, participative art and culture, fire, and gettin' it started!

Ignition 2005 will be held in "Sherman's Forest" an undeveloped wilderness area near the Vermont border, south of Bolton Sud in the Eastern Townships, just a short drive from Montreal.

There will be no vending on the premises -- you must bring everything you need (or else borrow it from another participant). This is an outdoor event and requires camping equipment, food and water.

Tickets: Cdn$40 in advance, $50 at the door (depending on availability).

Tickets may be purchased via Paypal. See our website for ordering info.

If you are in Montreal on Tuesday 2 August (today), you can pick up tickets in person at our 7pm organizational meeting at L'Intrus (1351 rue Rachel Est).

To subscribe to our mailing list at: http://bad.dynu.ca/mailman/listinfo/ignition2005

Please forward this info to any Burners (or the Burn-curious) anywhere within driving distance of Montreal. Thanks!

(Sorry for the very late notice! I've been so busy helping to organize this thing, I haven't had time to post about it!)

(Egregiously cross-posted all over the place)

A shot in the dark...
Anybody know of anyone carpooling/caravaning from/thru Atlanta to BRC
that may have room for a mouse?

Current Mood: hopeful
