Burning Man Will Be Better When Everyone Hates It

Burning Man may very well go through an extremely popular period - which of course is already beginning, with the extra streets of (mostly) RV parking, etc...

I predict that this popularity will crest within the next few years, and then large droves of people will abandon the event in disgust, many old burners, many many new burners, who will show up, wonder what it was all about, and then go home.

To the long-time burners - FEAR NOT! After the numbers decline, it will be ours again! In the absence of the extreme popularity (like a stock market bubble), the RV neighborhoods will decline, the new burners that you hate now will be old hands by then, and the 'declining' burning man will, after the bubble evaporates, see an enormous surge in creative art.

It was better 5 years from now! See you then...
