A little less dust than last year preferably, but I'm not complaining. I'm from up in the Twin Cities and I know there is a pretty large contingent of
Burners up here, and the number keeps growing as I tell the various stories of my experiences.
Each year has been different (I know, I know, it's only been two). The first year I was overcome with awe by the immense levels of creativity and the
works spawned from it. I have to admit I was a bit of a spectator. Don't get me wrong I tried to participate as much as possible, but there is sooo much to look at and experience.
We were comparing pics with some friends who went. I could have sworn we'd gotten around to see almost everything, but learned that at best we'd seen one tenth of what was going on out on the playa. The second year we went with a little bit larger group and were all a bit more adventurous. We also felt much more like we were a part of this grand thing that is Black Rock City. We met many more people, and were out and about a great deal more. I'm really looking forward to what the third year brings in the maturation of a Black Rock resident.
Can't wait to see you all windswept, hot, and dusted.
