We are listed

LiveJournal Camp is listed in the 2002 Theme camps for Burning Man this year. Of course, I put the wrong web site in, so I am having that corrected.

Basically, LiveJournal Camp will be open from 11 am to dusk for journal writing, drawing, and general chill space. That way we can frolic by night.

Of course, if you would like to host a party or have some kind of function in the tent at night, that is NOT a problem. Last year we had a very nice birthday party and that would be fun to do again.

I don't know if Mark sent out the questionnaire to find out who is coming so...I will be doing that soon. It is now time for me to take this off that BACKBURNER and bring it to the fore front.

Of course, we are bringing the 16 foot by 32 foot tent again this year, plus journals, writing supplies, a small generator, lights for the big tent, and DJ equipment. I will be bringing decorations for inside the tent again but now I am wondering HOW can we fit into the floating world theme? Is there anyway to decorate the inside and the outside of the tent that is playa friendly? Your ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We decided that being a passport camp was not what we wanted to do this year, we seemed to get plenty of people WITHOUT the passport stamp anyway.

Mark and I plan on being there from August 24 through Labor Day Monday. We will need people to help prop up the tent and people to help take it down. We brought blow up furniture last year, and while it was OK, the difference in heat temperatures made it go flat pretty quickly. We will have to figure out something else this year.

Again, thank you to those who made LJ Camp successful last year and I am looking forward to a successful 2003

Any and all ideas are welcome....so please make your suggestions....
